Call for Demonstrations

Demo Expo @ IROS 2023

IROS 2023 is piloting a Demonstrations Exposition that will provide researchers focused on physical demonstration the opportunity to showcase their hardware during an interactive session. Demo Expo will last for 1.5 hrs in the Exhibition Hall. Each participant is allotted a table for the duration of the session. To participate, there is no need to have an accepted paper at the conference.

Please submit the following to Paper Plaza by July 15, 2023

  • Abstract
    • File type: PDF
    • Max length: 1 page document, n pages of references
    • Language: English
    • Templates: LaTeX and MS Word
  • Video
    • File type: MP4
    • Max length: 1 minute
    • Max file size: 10 MB
    • Language: English
    • Narration recommended

Additional Details

  • Each demonstration station will comprise of a support table (180cm × 75cm) and power outlet
  • Demonstration stations are to be attended by a participant for the duration of the event
  • Demonstrators must register for the conference to take part in the event
  • Virtual demonstrations will not be accommodated
  • Participants may or may not have an accepted IROS paper or Late Breaking Result
  • Posters are not to be included, as these are covered by Late Breaking Results
  • Demo Expo submissions will not be published in the conference proceedings
  • Demo Expo submissions will be listed on the conference app
  • Submissions must be of general interest to the IROS community, but do not undergo a formal peer review process
  • Submissions are expected to be research-focused in nature. Those aimed exclusively at advertising the capabilities of commercial products will be rejected
