Forums typically focus on topics involving industry, government, and entrepreneurship in order to exchange innovative ideas, share disparate points of view, and discuss issues around various approaches to robotics and related fields. Forum proposals addressing non-technical issues of robotics such as the role of robots in society, robot ethics, new jobs and employment, regulations, etc. are particularly encouraged.
Proposal Content
Forum organizers submit proposals as a PDF by email to iros2023forums@ieee.org with the following information:
- Title of forum
- Organizers of forum
- Brief session description with 2-3 paragraphs explaining forum goal and overarching themes to be discussed
- Preferred format of forum (total duration, number & duration of presentations, etc.)
- List of potential presenters, including brief biography and likely topic
